What is included with my venue rental?

Exclusive use of our private venue, onsite venue staff, bartenders, tables/chairs, lounge furniture, private client suite, AV (microphone, speakers, projector, projection screen), catering kitchen, solarium foliage & cafe lights, & set up/tear down of our furniture are all included with your venue rental. We do not require you to hire a day-of coordinator and we do not charge a catering fee.

How much does it cost to rent The Tinsmith?

Our pricing begins at $3500 for a 12 hour rental period, plus a bar minimum. Contact us for more details.

What is your capacity?

Our capacity for a wedding ceremony and seated wedding reception dinner is 200. For other non-wedding events, our capacity ranges from 275 for a seated dinner in our main hall and front hall to 400 people for a standing, cocktail-style event.

Where can my guests park?

Parking is ample and convenient around The Tinsmith. The S. Livingston public parking garage is located 400 feet from the venue and has parking for 650.  There is a 15 minute passenger drop-off zone located directly in front of our building.

Where can my guests stay?

Some of Madison’s best hotels are located within walking distance to the venue.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

No, bar service is exclusively provided by The Tinsmith.  Bar minimums apply. Contact us for pricing.

Do you offer catering?

We do not offer in-house catering.  You may hire any licensed, full-service caterer you choose so long as they are able to meet our catering guidelines. The food portion of your event must be fully staffed by your caterer. We do not allow drop-off catering.  Please contact us for more details and recommendations.

How many events do you hold per day?

Just yours. 

Can I bring my pet?

Absolutely.  Our venue is pet friendly.

How far in advance are you booking?

We are currently booking into 2025.
